Darkroom's pretty much done

We went into downtown Atlanta to shoot the aftermath of the tornado the first week
The second week, we went to the fire station, and I got into this motel that was being demolished across the street.

I'm uploading prints from a while ago from a fieldtrip my darkroom class went on downtown one night

so I gots to get me the ansel adams book and ooh, the richard nickels book (look it up [the dude died shooting an old building {basically}. that's some serious shit.]) and I wanna take a laRGE format class and start using view cameras and so be for and to0 with but

Okay, so darkroom class last night kicked ass

I processed my two rolls of film from the place with the stuff (read previous journal)

They turned out very nicely. good lookin density (i did a lot of bracketing [i didn't have a light meter {i used sunny 16}] any questions?)

Ok, and MY darkroom is so sclose to being finished and actually dark I can practically smell the chemicals... mmm

can't wait to make prints next week!!!

oh oh! and I finally got my flipping phisheye prints back. (My camera guru's machine was broken) and I was a little pissed (a tiny itty witty bit) because the prints were all over the place and like not centered on the frame is what i mean and so yeah but ok with ad for but to be so because if

Okay, so I felt like doing some trespassing yesterday because there was this place with this old barn and stuff and I wanted to shoot there, so I did with the Zeiss Ikon I borrowed. There was a barbed wire fence blocking the easiest path in, so I shot one of the barns from behind the fence and then parked a block away so as not to draw attention to myself and walked through the briars. I had to stay low and move quickly, which is not an ideal way to approach a subject, but I think I did a decent job. I'll see on Tuesday when I go to my darkroom class. I'll be in the darkroom all night and withg any luck I'll have some good negatives to make some good prints from.

I've had an enlarger fo like a year and I've been waiting to build a darkroom and it's almost done now and I just gotta make a black plastic curtain and uber lighproof it nd I'll be in business and I'm taking a darkroom class this month the first session is tomorrow and I'm so pumpt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
